Well, a few of them are, but I'm sure your native country has protitutes too, and before you immigrated that never led you to believe that random women doing homework at a transit station in broad daylight were whores.
So lots of female characters in American action/adventure movies are loose—it's fiction! If American men were really getting that much sex, just maybe they wouldn't be so interested in watching other people have sex.

In other news, 94/7 played a new song by The Decemberists called "O Valencia!" and my audio stream cut out whilst I recorded it. (I'm not a bad person: I will definitely buy The Crane Wife when it comes out—I just wanted to have the song until then.)
